About the Anchor of Hope Church
Church History
The Anchor of Hope Church was founded by Pastor Albert Benson and Edith Smith, and was orginally established in 1977 in San Bernardino, California.
In 1986 Pastors Jack and Paula Morgan became the Senior Pastors and continued pastoring the church in the Southern California Inland Empire area for 25 years. In 2011, AOHC relocated to Saint Ann, Missouri. This remarkable move came as the result of God's extraordinary hand on the church and a fulfillment of His purpose and promise, to lead AOHC into greater opportunities of ministry in the mid-west and around the world. The church continues to provide a place where people of all ages and races can experience the power of God's love and presence through care and ministry of His church. As a Full Gospel Ministry, the Anchor of Hope embraces the fullness of God's Spirit to His people, so that lives can be changed, hope can be restored and faith can be renewed.
Pastors Jack & Paula continue to minister as the Senior Pastor's of AOHC, fulfilling the vision to reach out into the local communities, share the love of Jesus Christ, and to preach the Gospel of "Good News" to the lost.
Missionary Outreach
The Anchor of Hope Church is deeply involved in missionary outreach, operating in partnership with the Association of International Gospel Assemblies of DeSoto, Missouri, reaching into Uganda, the Philippines, India, Mexico, and Central America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. AOHC has been committed to missionary outreach for over 30 years.
